OUT OF THE CHUTE

Welcome, dear dedicated readers! I've been writing humor on the internet since '95, so I guess it's time to finally slide into the 21st Century and blogger-up.

My sincere thanks to illustrationists extraordinaire Peter Noonan and Mike Marland, for their brilliant caricatures used on this blog.

Now, might as well launch this blog with something you've probably missed in the "mainstream media." I managed to snag the first interview with Sarah Palin.

Couric & Gibson have nothing on Yezwe Toucan, my ace reporter in the field.

All best, El

I LOVE your Sarah Palin interview and think we need to see more of that parrot!

Weeee-el, it's a great idea, but on my computer anyway, the parrot was very disjointed in his comments. Lots of speech gaps. A blog is definitely a good idea, though. Everyone is doing it.... Hope to see more of you.

Thanks, BZ. Yezwe Toucan, the ace reporter you see in the video, did indeed have "speech gaps." I like to think of them as bird mutters, and he was exasperated with Mrs. Palin's responses, after all.

Thanks for writing!
